The CRASH Course utilizes extensive video; as such, it is important that you access the course from a high speed internet connection.

To view the CRASH course you must access the log-in page from a Windows based computer utilizing Internet Explorer 7.0 or newer. Alternatively, the content can also be accessed utilizing a MAC computer utilizing the browser Firefox 3.0 or newer.  The learning management software does not support the Safari internet browser. The course utilizes QuickTime video as such, you must also have the newest version of Quicktime Player on your computer.  Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Quicktime Player are all free downloads.

2.    Cost

Whether you choose one module or the entire course, CRASH is affordable.  You can forget long distance travel costs.  With the CRASH course the only costs you incur are the costs of tuition.  Each module varies in cost from $15.00 to 135.00 depending how many CEUs each course provides.  If you were to buy each module individually the entire course would cost only $495.00. However, for a limited time if you buy the entire CRASH course as 1 complete unit the cost is only $250.00, nearly half the cost of the entire program if purchased in modules! Thats right 32.5 hours of continuing education for less than $8.00 an hour!

3.    Quality

Just because its not expensive, doesn’t mean its not good.  The CRASH Course is taught by Anthony Baca. Anthony is a RN and Paramedic with over 17 years of clinical experience.  Since 2000, Anthony has guest lectured at over 100 universities, prominent health care systems, EMS agencies, and critical care transport programs from Canada to Mexico and everywhere in between. Anthony has helped thousands of participants prepare for board certification in emergency, critical care, and transport medicine.

4.     Recognition

The CRASH Course has been thoroughly reviewed by a board of practitioners for quality and currency to assure the most up to date clinical information.  Additionally, the American Association of Critical Care Nurses has reviewed the CRASH course and awarded 32.5 hours of Category A CEU for Nurses.

In addition to nursing CEU approval, the CRASH Course has been approved by the Board for Critical Care Paramedic Certification for utilization as an approved FP-C refresher. Additionally, the course has been approved by the New Mexico Emergency Medical Services Bureau for Paramedic CEU accreditation. The program has been approved for 32.5 contact hours of EMS CEU.

5.    Content

The CRASH course is broken into 12 core courses by subject matter.  Courses are further broken into lessons. Some courses may only encompass one lesson while other courses possess multiple lessons.
